Piggy the pigeon takes eons to eat
It seems that that birdie is never replete
He gobbles up more than a turkey can munch
And needs at least seven full courses for lunch

He grunts as he vacuums up all he can see
And looks like a feathered and beaked Tweedledee
Observers suggest he should live in a sty
And soon he’ll become far too heavy to fly

But Piggy’s not worried, he says it’s a gene
His dad ate as much and died aged 17
My ancestors all were as fat as can be
We snapped every branch on our family tree!

It seems Piggy took it a little too far
The quantity guzzled was truly bizarre
His eating compulsion just couldn’t be stopped
One day, while englutting at length, Piggy popped
