Christian Poems
Where, O Grave, Is Your Victory?
Snide grave lay smugly satisfied
His belly filled with choicest fare
Two thieves for starters (nothing new)
The main course: God’s own Son and heir
He Washed My Feet
He washed my feet and I denied Him
Cowered while they flogged and “tried” Him
My brashness with the cock’s crow banished
My guilt remains, my hope has vanished
Come, Sinners, Come
Come, sinners, come, forgiveness waits
The guard outside the fiery gates
Defeated by God’s power lies
Destroyed by Him who justifies
Just a Little Bit More…
A smart home to live in, a bragging address
A view of the bay that is sure to impress
A big-name designer to do the décor
How much is enough? Just a little bit more!
A car packed with features, the most modern shape
So cool that the Joneses with envy will gape
A jet-ski, a boat and a new 4 x 4
How much is enough? Just a little bit more!
