So He Mooned Him
At 2a.m. Sir Robin found
His navel turned pitch black
His lady put her gown on
And ran off to fetch the quack
The Corniest
Ears are corny
But eyes are cornea
There’s a Sting in the Tail
Little, the bee was exceedingly small
He was paid no attention by others at all
Ignored for so long, Little’s ego turned brittle
’Cos little bee, Little, belittled was he
Home Is Wherever She Is
As a snail I’m never lonely
Company I never lack
With mi cordial compan-i-on
Michelle upon mi back
The Insomniac’s Revenge
I took issue with my pillow
When I couldn’t sleep last night
And I told it, “Please keep stillo
’Cause you’re making me uptight.”
But my headrest wouldn’t listen,
Kept on wriggling ’neath my ear
All the while prejudicin’
Beauty sleep which I hold dear.
Ode to Roadkill
Jack Splatt will eat no more fat
His wife will eat no more lean
The trucker’s wheels came down the road
And they ran in between
What A Performance!
When Madeleina’s boy grew veggies
On a patch ten by ten
Musicians came and trampled it;
Irate, she screamed, “What’s this, then?”
Pas D’elle Yeux Rhône Canoux
His sailing boat is pretty hot
Its cabins sleep a foursome
His motorboat’s a home afloat
But his rowing boat is oarsome!
Reach for the Stars
Down in the veggie garden
Said a plant, “I beg your pardon,
I’ve a dream and you are not supposed to mock it
How I’d love to claim my place
Snap, Crackle, Aaarrrggghhh!
The maize was mangled with a spanner
The sorghum strangled with a banner
The rice was run down in the city
The barley bludgeoned without pity
